Welcome to the Namaqualand
We invite you to unwind and immerse yourself in the timeless beauty & silence of Soebatsfontein. Our accommodation consists of 11 suites that can accommodate up to 2 people each.
Each room has an extra-long double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a hot-water shower along with adequate lighting. Please note, the suites have brak water, but fresh drinking water is supplied. For convenience, linen and towels are provided. Each room has patio, no smoking is allowed inside the suites.
Each suite includes:
- A personal braai area (Only applicable to garden facing suites)
- We have two large communal braai areas
- Electricity is available and we have a back up generator on-site
- We have a fully equipped communal kitchen with a freezer and fridge
- Parking is available inside the premises
- Kindly, no pets are allowed.

What should I bring during my stay?
Our accommodation is self-catering, kindly bring your own food, beverages and amenities. We have a communal fridge and freezer where you may store your fresh goods.
We have drinkable water and you can buy wood from us or the local shop.
What type of vehicle do I need?
High-clearance vehicles are recommended due to the gravel roads.
Where is the last petrol station before Soebatsfontein?
Kamieskroon or Springbok.
When can I check in?
Kindly, check in at 2 PM and check out at 10 AM.
What are the directions to get to Soebatsfontein?
From Cape Town –
N7 to Garies (Fill up your car!)
40km past Garies turn off Soebatsfontein left
42 km gravel road,
(13km Grootvlei pass,
8km to Killians pass,
5km turn off to right
16km to Soebatsfontein)
From Springbok –
Do NOT follow Google maps via “The Drif”, its the shortest route but 4×4 and will take you 2 hours longer. Rather go Spektakel pass, Komaggas
OR
N7 from Springbok take 7km from Springbok the Droedap turnoff, right on the Hondeklipbaai/Soebatsfontein route via Wildeperdehoek pass
