We suggest Track4Africa, not Google Maps.

• Do not follow Google Maps from Springbok via “Die Drif”.  This is 4×4 and will take you much longer.
• Follow my instructions or use Tracks4Africa.
• You only need a high clearance vehicle unless you do the Caracal routes.
• Please note: There is no fuel at Soebatsfontein.
• Fuel your vehicle at Sprinkbok, Kamieskroon, Garies, Koiingnaas, Komaggas or Kleinsee.

• N7 tot Garies – Fill up your car!
• 40km past Garies take left turnoff Soebatsfontein.  (42km gravel road)
• The gravel road contains:
  • • 13km to Grootvlei pass  then
    • 8 km to Killians pass then
    • 5 km turn off to right then
    • 16 km to Soebatsfontein

• High clearance vehicle needed.
• +- 18 km from Kamieskroon to Skilpad gate
• 27km from Skilpad office to Soebatsfontein

•   Via Spektakel pass after 43km at Buffelsrivier take left turnoff to Komaggas 22km,  
• 5km thru Komaggas turn left, then 45km to Soebatsfontein

On the N7, 7km from the turnoff Springbok/Droedap take the Hondeklipbaai/Soebatsfontein turnoff to your right, this is via Wildeperdehoek pass.  This is a gravel road, high clearance vehicle needed
